interfaithInterfaith Theology Course

Tuesdays 11:00 am ~ 12:00 pm, beginning Sept. 12

Westport/Weston clergy of all faiths are joining together to offer this brand-new course on interfaith theology. Each clergy member will teach a segment of the course, enabling us to learn a multitude of perspectives on creation, revelation, redemption, good & evil, covenant and many other topics. Together with our neighbors, we will listen and share with mutual respect and openness in order to achieve greater understanding of others and ourselves. No registration is necessary.

 Thursdays at 9:30 am ~ 10:45 am
This class meets weekly from Sept. 14 until May 17

(No class on Oct. 5, 12; Nov. 23, Dec. 28)

The Jewish holidays weave a rich tapestry that help us connect to our history and heritage. Through text, art, music and story, we will dive into the sacred seasons with an interest in both their origins as well as the resonance they can hold for us as modern Jews. This class will be co-taught by Rabbi Danny Moss and Director of Education Orly Mendelson. Some class sessions will focus specifically on Hebrew texts, though translation will always accompany; no prior experience is necessary. This course is open to all. Register here.
