For Temple members who have had a loss of a partner in the past 2 years. The men and women who participated in the initial program found the support group to be compassionate and uplifting. Sponsored by The Caring Committee
Bike Drive with the CT Bike Project  

"Please save your used bikes -- adults or childrens -- for a good cause taking place in the fall. Temple Israel and the Social Action Committee -- with help from the Religious School's Chesed Club --  are sponsoring a Bike Drive with the Connecticut Bike Project on Sunday morning, September 26. Kids' bikes will be given to needy children and adult bikes provided to adults who cannot afford cars to get to work and social services appointment
