Sarah Magida
Sarah is our Director of Youth Programming. Sarah graduated from Skidmore College in May, 2009 where she majored in Religious Studies and American Studies. She researched informal education and the history of American Reform Judaism for her senior thesis, and is excited to put her research into action. While she was at Skidmore, Sarah served on the Hillel board and as the youth group advisor at Temple Sinai of Saratoga Springs, where she worked with both the junior and the senior youth groups. Sarah has spent eleven summers at URJ Eisner Camp, as a camper and staff member, most recently as unit head for 85 boys and girls entering 8th grade.
Sarah grew up in Westport and is very pleased to be coming home to the Temple Israel community and returning to TISY. She served on the TISY board and was active in NFTY when she was in high school, and is excited to work with the next generation of Temple Israel youth groupers.
